What will we see to Caminito del Rey?

Make your reservation

Discover with Naturanda El Caminito del Rey, one of the most demanded tourist visits of recent years in Andalusia. Walking on the paths enabled on the walls of the gorge is really impressive. A tour in a unique natural environment through an impressive path that crosses the Gorge of the Gaitanes, in the province of Malaga.

The name of El Caminito del Rey dates back to 1921 when King Alfonso XIII crossed the road, after the inaguration of the dam of the Count of Guadalhorce, a route covered by the Chorro Hydroelectric Society. The passage of time and its disuse caused it to deteriorate greatly and become the most dangerous path in Europe, causing several victims.

After a magnificent restoration work, the Caminito del Rey was again inaugurated in 2015 and is currently perfectly passable without any risk, with a part built taking advantage of what was built by the Chorro station Hydroelectric Society.

The route runs between the Guadalhorce-Guadalteba reservoir with areas with a width of just 1 meter, and the town of El Chorro. It is a walk in parallel to the railroad tracks where you can walk and enjoy the famous route of the Gaitanes gorge and the Gaitanejo.

The group will depart from the municipality of Ardales until it ends in Álora. The tour will be along those 7 kilometers conditioned that will take approximately two and a half hours to complete and that will be full of emotions and surprises.

A beautiful experience for nature lovers, with spectacular landscapes and stunning photographs that you can take.

Seville to Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera day trip

make your reservation

The province of Cádiz, in addition to being one of the most beautiful in Spain, is one of the ones that offers us the most diversity of landscapes. From its famous white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters to its mountain peaks with fir forests more typical of other parts of Europe.

With our Seville to Cadiz – Jerez day trip, we will discover not only its two main cities, but also the culture of Jerez wine, which has undoubtedly contributed even more to the international fame of this destination.

After leaving behind the fields of crops in the ancient marshes of the Guadalquivir and the landscapes of the Sierra de Grazalema, home to the mythical white villages of Andalusia, we will arrive in Jerez de la Frontera to take a short tour of the city center and visit one of its Jerez wine cellars. Jerez or Sherry is a wine with its own designation of origin in this area of Spain that has brought great prosperity to the city. During the winery visit, we can also enjoy a small tasting of these wines before heading to our next destination of the day.

The city of Cádiz is home to a unique seafaring atmosphere, an impressive history, friendliness, art, and delicious cuisine. Environments full of beauty such as the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the Cathedral of Cádiz, the Barrio de la Viña, and the Playa de la Caleta are some of the emblematic places that we can visit.

As we stroll through its beautiful streets and squares, we will get to know in depth the history and culture of Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe and the birthplace of the Spanish Constitution of 1812.

We will enjoy a small break for lunch in one of its typical bars or restaurants where we can taste the rich gastronomy of Cádiz, with fresh fish and excellent wines. There will be time for everything, and you will also have the opportunity to do some shopping if you wish. Before returning to Seville, we will visit one of its beaches to take one last breath of fresh air.

There we will see very closely the famous and friendly monkeys of Gibraltar, which are the only free monkeys throughout the European continent.

Next, Naturanda’s clients will have free time for lunch and to visit the city’s commercial area, near the famous Main Street, where they can enjoy the many shops and bazaars that give Gibraltar its reputation as a shopping center and where, at the moment, the “hard Brexit” does not exist.
