Join us in our Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville. We will depart to Tarifa early in the morning and we will arrive around 11 to take the ferry to the African continent. Tangier in Morocco is only 14kms far from Tarifa.
Tangier offers a great cultural and historical heritage, halfway between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, this city hides a cosmopolitan flavor that unites the cultures of Africa and Europe.

If we look at the sea we will find the Bay of Tangier and the Straits of Gibraltar; and to the other side, a motley city that looks to the future, enclosed in the white walls of the Medina. Tangier is now populated by more than one million inhabitants and living day to day with this dichotomy. And yes, it is true that there are many modern buildings, the Tangier Med port project and the deafening traffic, intellectuals of past years hardly find the environment that brought them here, some places would not be alien to Matisse and Bowles, and visitors can enjoy both in the medina in front of its magnificent bay, all the delights offered by the city.

By the ferry our local guide will lead us through the narrow streets of Medina walking for several hours throught the most picturesque places in the city. After we will returning to the port of Tangier and head towards the city of Seville.

Product Description

Tangier, Morocco Day trip from Seville

Join us in our Tangier, Morocco Day Trip from Seville. Tanger in Spanish, is the largest city in north Morocco. It is located on the Maghreb coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Spartel. Just 14 kilometers separate here Africa and Europe. The town is the capital of the Alhucemas region.

Many civilisations and cultures have influenced the history of Tangier, starting from before the 5th century BC. Tangier was a nexus for many cultures. In 1923, it was considered as having international status by foreign colonial powers, and became a destination for many people from Europe and also American diplomats. The old town (medina), enclosed by 15th-century ramparts, is dominated by a kasbah, the sultan’s palace (now a museum of Moroccan art), and the Great Mosque. European quarters, whose populations have declined considerably since integration with Morocco in 1956, stretch to the south and west. Tangier has been the summer site of the Moroccan royal residence since 1962.

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel around 7.00h. After driving 2 hours you will reach Tarifa just in time to have a quick coffee before your guide prepare all the documents required to travel to Morocco. The boat will leave Spain at 11.00h and will arrive to Tangier 35 minutes later. Once in Tangier our local guide will be waiting you at the port.

We will start our tour with a panoramic bus tour, to discover the outskirts of this magical city. First stop will be to visit Cape Spartel and the Cave of Hercules, here you will also the possibility of riding a camel since the locals usually are waiting us with the animals prepared.

  1. :
