The origins of Triana are next to the foundation of Seville by Melkart, the future Hercules; unknowingly, he was already called to be one of his most famous neighborhoods, among other things, for his flamenco and pottery tradition.
In this circular route, Naturanda, offers its visiting friends to know each of the corners of this picturesque neighborhood. We will uncover anecdotes, events and historical enclaves of the Triana quarter. A neighborhood divided into two parts, to the south, the old port and, to the north, the most industrial part. With its emblematic Triana bridge over the Guadalquivir river, Pureza or San Jacinto street.
Visitors will know the Capillita del Carmen, the market of Triana, the Castle of San Jorge, the Church of Santa Ana, the house of the Esperanza de Triana, and the old Cava de los gitanos, cradle of flamenco. Neighborhood full of stories legends, traditions and Semana Santa.
We will walk along the famous calle Betis from where we will see its famous bridge and discover other enclaves such as the Patio de Monipodio or the old University of Mareantes.
