Discover one of Europe’s most surprising destinations, situated at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. Gibraltar stands out for its historical heritage, its prime location and a culture full of contrasts that blends British influence with the atmosphere of southern Spain.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel or accommodation on the Cádiz coast to begin this experience, which will take us across the border between Spain and the United Kingdom, to a spot situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, we’ll pass through different parts of the province of Cádiz, taking in its natural landscapes and picturesque white villages.
On Saturdays, we’ll also make a brief stop in Tarifa, a town with a unique charm situated where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet, famous for its spectacular scenery and its seaside atmosphere.
On arrival in Gibraltar, we’ll cross the border to begin our free time. You’ll be able to explore the destination at your own pace, strolling through its streets and discovering the unique blend of British influence and Andalusian atmosphere that characterises this territory.
During your stay, you’ll have the chance to explore Gibraltar’s historic centre, stroll along the famous Main Street and enjoy its many shops and businesses. You can also stop for lunch at one of the local bars and restaurants, or simply take the time to explore its streets and hidden corners at your own pace.
From various points around the city, you can admire the imposing Rock of Gibraltar and enjoy views of the Strait of Gibraltar. On the clearest days, it is even possible to make out the African coast, thanks to this enclave’s privileged location between Europe and Africa.
After enjoying some free time in Gibraltar, we’ll meet up with our guide to set off on the return journey to the coast of Cádiz. This will mark the end of a day during which you’ll have had the chance to discover one of southern Europe’s most unique destinations, renowned for its international character, its history and its distinctive blend of cultures.
