This day trip from Seville will take you to discover Gibraltar, one of the most unique enclaves in southern Europe, a British territory located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, just 14 km from Africa, and the charming town of Tarifa, known for its beaches and views of the Strait.
The journey begins with a comfortable bus ride from Seville. After approximately two hours, we will make our first stop in Tarifa, where you can enjoy a short walk through the city centre and stop at its viewpoint, which offers spectacular views of the Strait of Gibraltar and, on clear days, the African continent. This brief break will allow you to get a feel for the essence of this picturesque town before continuing on to Gibraltar.
On arrival in Gibraltar, we will take the famous Rock Tour, a guided tour of the spectacular Gibraltar Nature Reserve, situated on the iconic Rock, from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the African coast.
During the tour, we will stop at the Mirador de las Columnas de Hércules viewpoint, a superb spot from which to admire the meeting of Europe and Africa. We will then explore the impressive Saint Michel’s Caves, a spectacular natural cave with stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations, considered one of the Rock’s major attractions.
The tour will continue to the habitat of Gibraltar’s famous monkeys, the only apes living in the wild on the European mainland and one of the territory’s most distinctive symbols.
At the end of the Rock Tour, you’ll have some free time to explore the lively Main Street, known for its wide range of shops, enjoy lunch at one of its bars or restaurants, or take a leisurely stroll through the centre of Gibraltar before heading back to Seville, bringing a day full of scenery, history and unforgettable experiences to a close.
