Book with Naturanda this visit to Gibraltar for the well-known Rock Tour, a tour of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve.
Gibraltar is an impressive Rock located in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. From here you will enjoy unique views of the Strait of Gibraltar, which separates Africa from Europe at a distance of just 14 kms.
On entering the reserve, visitors will make their first stop at the viewpoint of the Pillars of Hercules, from where they will have magnificent views of the entire Strait and the African continent. Afterwards, the tour will continue to the St. Michael’s Cave, an incredible natural cave in the heart of Gibraltar with geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites.
You will then continue through the Rock to meet the famous and friendly Gibraltar monkeys, the only apes currently living in the wild across the entire European continent.
At the end of the tour, our visitors will be able to visit the lower part of Gibraltar and stroll along its famous Main Street, full of shops that give Gibraltar its reputation as a shopping centre, and visit at their own pace other sites of this peculiar English colony.
