The guided tour includes skip-the-queue entry to the basilica. Once the guided part of the tour is over, you can explore Montserrat at your own pace. Climb up to the Cross of Saint Michael to enjoy stunning panoramic views, visit the Montserrat Museum, which houses works by Dalí and Caravaggio (admission not included), or attend a performance by the famous boys’ choir (l’Escolania), provided there are places available and tickets have been purchased in advance via the official Montserrat website.
If you’d like to visit the shrine of the Virgin of Montserrat (La Moreneta), famous amongst pilgrims from all over the world, choose the option that includes admission with a prior booking.
The scenic journey by rack railway up the mountain is included. The train will drop you back at Estació del Nord in the mid-afternoon.
