The province of Cádiz is one of the most beautiful and diverse in Spain, a region that combines natural landscapes, historic cities and the unmistakable breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. On this day trip to Cádiz and Jerez from Seville, you will discover some of the most representative destinations in southern Andalusia, enjoying culture, history and free time to explore at your own pace.
During the journey, we will pass through the farmlands of the former Guadalquivir marshlands and the spectacular landscapes of the Sierra de Grazalema, home to Andalusia’s famous White Villages. Our first stop will be Jerez de la Frontera, a city known for its equestrian tradition, its connection to flamenco, and its history linked to the famous sherry wine. Here you will have free time to explore its historic centre, stroll through its streets and squares, admire its elegant architecture and discover the authentic atmosphere of a city steeped in tradition.
Next, we will head to Cádiz, a city with a unique maritime character and considered one of the oldest cities in Europe. During the tour, we will visit some of its most emblematic places, such as the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the impressive Cádiz Cathedral, the traditional neighbourhood of La Viña, and the famous Playa de la Caleta, one of the most photographed spots in the city.
As we stroll through its streets and squares, we will discover the history and culture of Cadiz, a city known for being the birthplace of the Spanish Constitution of 1812. You will also have free time to have lunch in one of its typical bars or restaurants, where you can sample Cadiz’s cuisine, famous for its fresh fish, seafood tapas and authentic Atlantic flavour.
Before returning to Seville, we will make one last stop at one of the beaches in Cadiz to enjoy the scenery, the light and the Atlantic Ocean breeze, putting the finishing touch to an unforgettable day trip along the Cadiz coast.
