The province of Cadiz, besides being one of the most beautiful in Spain, is one of the most diverse in terms of landscapes. From its famous white sand beaches and crystal clear waters to its mountain peaks with fir forests more typical of other European latitudes. On our tour, we will discover not only its two main cities, but also the wine culture of Jerez, which has undoubtedly contributed even more to the international fame of this destination.
Leaving behind the farmlands of the former Guadalquivir marshlands and the landscapes of the Sierra de Grazalema, home to the legendary white villages of Andalusia, we will arrive in Jerez de la Frontera for a short tour of the city centre and a visit to one of its sherry wineries. Sherry, or Sherry, is a wine with denomination of origin from this area of Spain that has brought great prosperity to the city. During the visit to the winery we can also enjoy a small tasting of these wines before leaving for our next destination of the day.
The city of Cádiz boasts a unique maritime atmosphere, an impressive history, friendly locals, art and delicious cuisine. Beautiful settings such as the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, Cádiz Cathedral, the Barrio de la Viña neighbourhood and La Caleta beach are just some of the iconic places you can visit.
As we stroll through its beautiful streets and squares we will learn about the history and culture of Cadiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe y cradle of the Spanish Constitution of 1812.
We will enjoy a short break for lunch at one of the typical bars or restaurants where we can savour the delicious cuisine of Cadiz, with fresh fish and excellent wines.
There will be time for everything and you will also have the opportunity to do some shopping if you wish. Before returning to Seville, we will visit one of its beaches to take one last breath of fresh air.
