Situated just 13 km from the Moroccan coast, Tarifa is one of the main crossing points of the Strait of Gibraltar. It is also a very popular destination because of the quality of its beaches, which can be enjoyed for a large part of the year thanks to the warm climate of these lands.

Our excursion will start at one of Naturanda‘s meeting points with everything you need to enjoy cetacean watching in the Strait of Gibraltar. The activity lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes, during which you will enjoy a boat ride to observe and learn about the fascinating world of cetaceans.

The Strait of Gibraltar is a designated Biosphere Reserve, and although up to seven different species of cetaceans coexist there, whales and dolphins are the most common and abundant.

Its geographical location is privileged, as you will find yourself between two continents: Africa and Europe, two countries: Morocco and Spain; and right where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.

After finishing the activity, you can enjoy an afternoon on the beaches of Tarifa before returning with our transport to your hotel/accommodation.
