The day trip to Gibraltar begins in Seville, when our guide picks you up in our transport from Seville and thus begin the adventure between Spain and the United Kingdom, the border between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
In approximately two hours, we will arrive in Gibraltar, crossing much of the province of Cádiz, with its fabulous cork oak forests and picturesque white villages.
On Sundays, the day trip may include an additional stop in Tarifa to visit a viewpoint and take a short walk around the area, allowing you to enjoy the natural surroundings of the Strait even more.
Gibraltar, a British territory, is an enclave in the south of the Iberian Peninsula located just 14 km from the African continent . Also known as ‘The Rock’, it is home to a unique population that blends Andalusian and British cultures.
Upon arrival in Gibraltar and crossing the border, we will take the Rock Tour. We will start with the entrance to the Gibraltar Nature Reserve, where we will make our first stop at the Columns of Hercules viewpoint, where we will enjoy incredible views of the Strait of Gibraltar.
We will continue our journey to the Caves of St. Michael, an incredible cave in the heart of Gibraltar with geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites that will leave us amazed.
We will see the famous and friendly monkeys of Gibraltar up close, which are the only apes living in the wild on the entire European continent.
Afterwards, Naturanda customers will have free time to have lunch and visit the city’s shopping area, near the famous Main Street, where they can enjoy the numerous shops and bazaars that give Gibraltar its reputation as a shopping centre and where, for the moment, there is no such thing as a ‘hard Brexit’.
At the end of your free time, our guide will accompany you to our transport for the return journey to Seville after enjoying a magnificent day trip.
