Naturanda offers its clients a two-day excursion through the picturesque White Villages of Andalusia with accommodation included in the romantic city of Ronda, a route through the White Villages you will never forget.
Day 1 – Route to the White Villages and arrival in Ronda
Our journey begins in Seville, from where we will head towards the heart of the White Villages, crossing typical Andalusian inland landscapes. We will pass through various types of scenery: the Andalusian countryside where we will see the castle of Aguzaderas, and little by little we will enter increasingly mountainous terrain.
The first stop will be at a traditional olive oil mill, where you will learn how extra virgin olive oil is produced using artisanal methods. We will learn all about the olive oil production process, after which attendees will enjoy a small olive oil tasting and those who wish may purchase local products.
We will continue to Zahara de la Sierra, a white village perched atop a hill, surrounded by a reservoir and mountains. We will enjoy a pleasant walk through its steep streets and the wonderful views of its natural surroundings, a journey full of surprises and photo opportunities.
We will move on to the Sierra de Grazalema, a natural site of great ecological value, home to the Spanish fir (a native fir tree) and the payoya goat, whose milk produces the renowned payoyo cheese. This will be the perfect place to stop for lunch, thanks to its delicious local cuisine. The guide will recommend restaurants and typical dishes so you can enjoy an authentic and tasty meal.
After the break, we will head to the Ronda mountain range to visit this wonderful town. In the company of our guide, you will discover the most important landmarks such as the Alameda, the Paseo de los Toreros, and the impressive Puente Nuevo.
At the end of the walking tour of Ronda, you can rest in your accommodation after a long and intense day.
Day 2 – Free day in Ronda and return to Seville
This day is designed for you to enjoy Ronda at your own pace. You can spend the morning visiting its museums, exploring viewpoints, wandering through the historic centre, relaxing on a terrace with views of the Andalusian landscape, doing some shopping or engaging in another activity.
Our guide will meet you around 5:30 p.m. to head back to Seville, where we will arrive at approximately 7:00 p.m. after having enjoyed a wonderful two-day and one-night getaway in the White Villages of Andalusia.
Please note that the itinerary order and its contents may vary depending on the season, weather, road conditions or local festivities, always aiming to provide the best possible experience for the group.
