From the port of Tarifa in Cadiz, we will take a ferry that will take us to the African continent in less than an hour, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar and enjoying magnificent views of the sea during the journey between Europe and Africa. If you pay attention, you may even see dolphins that seem to be greeting us.
Once we arrive in northern Morocco, a local Moroccan guide will meet us and invite us to board our transport to enjoy, first of all, a panoramic tour and discover the most emblematic places around Tangier.
We will visit some points of interest such as the famous Caves of Hercules. We will visit the Atlantic coast to see how the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean separate. We will make a brief stop to see and, if you wish, take a short ride on a camel, Morocco’s most representative animal.
Once the panoramic tour is over, we will arrive at the centre of Tangier, leave our transport and take a wonderful walk where we will discover the wonders of this multicultural city, home to Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities living in harmony, which also attracts artists from all over the world.
Halfway through our visit, we will stop at a traditional restaurant to enjoy a Moroccan lunch, sampling the fabulous cuisine, which includes dishes such as couscous and tahini.
After this refreshing gastronomic stop, we will continue enjoying our visit, discovering more corners of this city that is always caught between North African and European culture.
Among the hundreds of shops that line its streets, we will have the opportunity to visit some of them. We will also treat ourselves to a stroll through this significant space, filled with diverse smells and colours.
