Carmona, known as ‘the Star of Europe’, is a famous medieval town with important archaeological discoveries such as the San Felipe underground passages, its palace houses and the Necropolis. For all these reasons, a visit to Carmona is one of Naturanda’s most popular half-day excursions.
With its Andalusian character and rich monumental heritage, Carmona is over 5,000 years old and is listed as Spain’s first archaeological site open to the public.
Our clients will be taken by private transport to Carmona, where we will arrive in just 40 minutes, to visit some of the city’s most emblematic places, accompanied by our Naturanda guide.
In its impressive Roman necropolis, which is over 5,000 years old, we will discover such unique treasures as the Elephant Tomb and the Roman Mausoleum.
Cultures such as those of the Carthaginians, Romans, Muslims and Christians left an indelible legacy of great importance in every corner of its streets. We will pass through the Puerta de Sevilla and the Puerta de Córdoba to reach the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro, currently converted into a Parador hotel by the Carmona Town Council.
We will continue through the old town, exploring its narrow streets, typical of an Andalusian village. We will discover the numerous Mudejar churches and convents, enjoying wonderful views of the Vega de Carmona from some of its impressive viewpoints, images that will remain etched in your memory forever.
After exploring every corner of this beautiful town on foot, our transport will pick you up and take you back to Seville.

- This tour is available: Wednesdays at 9:30 am and Saturdays at 16:00 pm. Please check the booking calendar to confirm the time available on your desired date.
- Pick-up at your hotel or accommodation in the city centre. If your accommodation is not accessible, you will be picked up at the nearest access point. Once you have made your booking, you must confirm the exact time and meeting point by email or telephone.
