Book Now
Seville is approximately 210 km from Malaga and the journey takes an estimated 3 hours. Along the way, we will make a short stop so you can have breakfast and use the toilets before continuing our journey to the Andalusian capital. Entering the city of Seville at around 11:00 a.m., you will enjoy panoramic views from the bus as we pass iconic landmarks such as Paseo de Colón, the Guadalquivir River, Avenida de las Palmeras and, in the background, the emblematic María Luisa Park, where you will have the opportunity to visit the famous Plaza de España, a place full of history and charm, at your leisure. Explore all the autonomous communities represented in this square and take some memorable photos!
We will continue along the Murillo Gardens to enter Seville’s old town, specifically to the Puerta de Jerez, one of Seville‘s most emblematic historic gateways, located in the heart of the city, close to the main monuments and the Torre del Oro. We will begin a one-hour guided tour through the charming narrow streets of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, famous for its legends and mysteries. We will discover the Plaza de Doña Elvira and the Plaza de Santa Cruz, surrounded by orange trees and full of Andalusian charm. We will admire the flower-filled courtyards, the Callejón del Agua alleyway next to the Alcázar wall, and the statue of Don Juan Tenorio in the Plaza de los Refinadores square. This picturesque neighbourhood offers an authentic and captivating atmosphere.
We will finish at Plaza del Triunfo, from where the guide will tell you how to get to the office where you will meet up with the group for the visit to the majestic Real Alcázar of Seville, which will begin at around 13:30 pm. You will have 45 minutes to grab a quick bite to eat. Once you are with the group, on a route lasting approximately 90 minutes in total, you will take a short walk to the entrance of the Real Alcázar, strolling through streets lined with traditional façades and typical shops. Enjoy the side view of the Church of El Sagrario, the authentic Sevillian atmosphere and the impressive view of La Giralda when you reach the Plaza del Triunfo. From there, accompanied by a local guide, you will enter the Real Alcázar of Seville, one of the oldest palaces in use in Europe and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This majestic complex of buildings and gardens, which has served as a residence for Spanish royalty for centuries, is also known for being a filming location for the series Game of Thrones. Accompanied by our guide, you will explore the various rooms and courtyards, each with its own architectural style, from Islamic art to Renaissance and Baroque. Be amazed by the Patio de las Doncellas and the Salón de los Embajadores, with their intricate decoration and magnificent details in tiles and arabesques. You will also enjoy a stroll through the exquisite gardens, where fountains and paths will transport you to an oasis of peace in the heart of Seville. This tour is ideal for those who want a more complete experience and to discover every corner of this fascinating royal palace. From approximately 15:00h, you can take advantage of your free time to visit Seville at your leisure and enjoy its cuisine. The amount of free time will depend on the time you enter the monument.
At the time indicated by our guide, around 16:00h the entire group will meet again at the Puerta de Jerez and we will head to the bus that will take us back to Malaga. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at the starting points where the day trip began.
