Explore this famous British enclave in Spain, home to Europe’s only wild monkeys, and enjoy its unique blend of Andalusian and British culture.
This day trip from Seville will take you to discover Gibraltar, one of the most unique enclaves in southern Europe – a British territory situated at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, just 14 km from Africa – and the charming town of Tarifa, known for its beaches and spectacular views of the Strait of Gibraltar.
The trip begins with a comfortable bus ride from Seville. After a journey of approximately two hours, we’ll make our first stop in Tarifa, where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll through the historic centre and visit one of its viewpoints, from which, on clear days, you can see the African continent on the other side of the Strait. This short break will give you the chance to discover the charm of this town before continuing on to Gibraltar.
Once in Gibraltar, you’ll have some free time to explore the destination at your own pace. You can stroll down the lively Main Street, famous for its wide range of shops, wander around the town centre, enjoy lunch at one of its bars or restaurants, or take your time visiting some of the most iconic spots in this unique British colony.
During your stay, you’ll be able to take in the imposing Rock of Gibraltar, the symbol of the territory, admire the views of the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and enjoy the distinctive atmosphere that makes Gibraltar such a unique destination, where history, culture and British tradition blend with the essence of southern Europe.
After some free time, we’ll set off back to Seville, having explored two destinations, each with its own distinct character: the coastal beauty and Andalusian charm of Tarifa, alongside the international atmosphere and unique identity of Gibraltar.
