Day-Trip to Granada and guided tour of the Albaicín neighbourhood from Seville

Booking

Discover one of Andalusia’s most iconic destinations. Granada is a fascinating city, where Muslim and Christian heritage are intertwined in its architecture, streets and customs. From its vibrant historic centre to its viewpoints with unforgettable views, Granada will captivate you at every turn.

Accompanied by an expert guide, we will visit the Albaicín, Granada’s most emblematic neighbourhood. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Albaicín is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Granada, located on a hill opposite the Alhambra. Its origins date back to the Muslim era, when it was the centre of the Islamic city, and its alleyways maintain that mysterious and enchanting air. As we wander through its narrow, cobbled streets, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the Alhambra from the most iconic viewpoints, such as the San Nicolas viewpoint.

After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to continue exploring Granada at your own pace. You can stroll through the city centre, visi the Cathedral, sample the delicious local cuisine or simply relax in one of the city’s squares and terraces. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea in the traditional teterías (tea shops) of the Albaicín or try some of Granada’s famous tapas.

This excursion does not include entrance tickets or a guided tour of the Alhambra. If you are interested in this option you may be interested in: Excursion to Granada and Alhambra from Seville.

On this seven-day tour you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most impressive monumental cities in central and southern Spain, starting with Madrid. On the first day, we will pick you up at the airport and take care of your transfer to your hotel/accommodation. On this day you can visit the city at your leisure.

On the second day we will visit two of the most important buildings in Madrid, the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. We will start with the Palace, whose visit will last about an hour and a half, then we will take a guided tour to the Prado Museum, the largest and most important art gallery in the country. This last visit will also last approximately one hour, where we will be able to enjoy the works of Velázquez, Goya, Rubens, among others. Once the visit is over, the tour will be finished and you can enjoy the city for the rest of the afternoon.

On the third day we will visit three cities of great importance and World Heritage Sites: Segovia, Avila and Toledo. We will start with Toledo with an hour and a half visit of the historic centre. Then we will head to Avila, famous for its walls which we will visit together with the exterior of the Cathedral, this part of the visit will last between 20-25 minutes and we will stop for lunch. In Segovia we will visit part of the historic centre, starting with the iconic aqueduct and ending at the Alcazar, where we will have a guided tour. After the visit, we will return to Madrid.

On the fourth day we will head south, starting with a visit to Cordoba. The first stop will be the Roman Bridge. After crossing the Guadalquivir we will find ourselves next to the Arco del Triunfo, the gateway to the medieval city. We will take a tour of the Jewish quarter, full of flowery courtyards, stroll through the San Basilio neighborhood and next will see the Royal Stables. We will also discover one of the few remaining synagogues on the peninsula. After lunch we will start our trip with a guided visit of the Mosque-Cathedral: a jewel of Caliphate art that is one of the symbols of Andalusia and a World Heritage Site. Afterwards, we will head to Seville, where we will drop you off at your accommodation.

On the fifth day, we will go on our Monumental Tour. This is a guided tour of the main monuments of Seville: Reales Alcázares, Cathedral and Giralda. These three monuments are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After the visit of more than 3 hours you will have the whole afternoon free to explore the city of Seville.

On the sixth day we will visit Ronda and the White Villages of Cadiz and Malaga. Our first stop will be an olive oil mill, where you will learn about the extraction and production of olive oil in the traditional way, a fundamental product in the history and gastronomy of Andalusia. We will also have an oil tasting in this oil mill. You will have the opportunity to taste one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the area. Afterwards we will visit the white village of Zahara de la Sierra. Its amazing location will leave you speechless. We will walk through its narrow streets, enjoy wonderful views and learn a little more about the history of Andalusia through its past. After visiting it we will head for Grazalema. Former land of Bandoleros and today a beautiful mountain village, one of the rainiest in Spain, nestled in the mountains next to forests of Pinsapos and Cork Oaks.

Finally, we will move on to the romantic city of Ronda, the largest in the region. We will arrive in Ronda through one of the largest Natural Parks in Spain: the cork oak forests; a journey through cork oaks where you will learn about this tree and the cork industry. After that, the impressive views of the Ronda mountain range will appear. Before arriving, our guide will explain you the most important historical and cultural details of Ronda, as well as its main monuments: Plaza de Toros, Alameda, Paseo de los Toreros, the Tajo and the famous Puente Nuevo.

On the seventh day, a transfer to the airport/train station is included to end your stay.

Enjoy a unique activity and an afternoon on the beaches of Tarifa.

Book Now

Situated just 13 km from the Moroccan coast, Tarifa is one of the main crossing points of the Strait of Gibraltar. It is also a very popular destination because of the quality of its beaches, which can be enjoyed for a large part of the year thanks to the warm climate of these lands.

Our excursion will start at one of Naturanda’s meeting points with everything you need to enjoy dolphin watching in the Strait of Gibraltar. The activity lasts about 2:30 hours, during which you will enjoy a walk to observe and learn about the fascinating world of cetaceans.

The Strait of Gibraltar is an area declared a Biosphere Reserve, and although there are up to seven different species of cetaceans, whales and dolphins are the most common and abundant.

Its geographical location is privileged, as you will find yourself between two continents: Africa and Europe, two countries: Morocco and Spain; and right where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.

After finishing the activity, you can enjoy an afternoon on the beaches of Tarifa before returning with our transport to Seville.

If you’re spending a few days in Seville, you can also make the most of your stay by booking our Day trip to Ronda and the White Villages.
