Private Excursion to Cádiz and Jerez from Seville

Make your reservation

Let yourself be captivated by the cultural heritage of Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera on this excursion in which we will also enjoy a visit to a winery and a wine tasting.

Leaving Seville, we head towards the south of Spain for an hour to reach Cadiz, a natural harbor in the province of Cadiz.

Our first destination will be Jerez de la Frontera, a city in Cádiz famous for Xerez wine, horses, flamenco dancing and music, and motorcycling.

After a brief stroll through this Andalusian city, we will visit one of its traditional wineries in the old town.

There we will taste its famous fortified wines. Jerez is known as the world capital of sherry, so Jerez de La Frontera enjoys a great development of wine tourism.

We continue our trip passing through Puerto de Santa María -known as the place where Christopher Columbus left for America- and we arrive at the capital of Cádiz, also known as Cádiz, known as the “Tacita de Plata” (Silver Tacita).

This cozy coastal town has silvery waters and spectacular views. Gaditanos are also known for their sense of humor.

Our guide will take you to the city center, next to the Cathedral of Santa Cruz, to discover the oldest city in Europe, with a history of more than three thousand years.

The cathedralwas built over a former Muslim mosque and is visible from almost all parts of the city.

Then we can enjoy the afternoon at one of the beaches (such as La Caleta) or stroll through the narrow streets of the Barrio de la Viña, the most traditional of Andalusia, or El Pópulo.

Private tour to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila

Book Now

Discover three World Heritage sites with this itinerary that takes you to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila from Madrid. Today is the day to book your private tour of Toledo, Segovia and Ávila, which will give you the opportunity to discover areas off the beaten track.

The excursion to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila is a perfect combination of some of Spain’s most important cities. Rest assured that our expert guides will provide you with a cultural journey exploring the best of these three beautiful cities. It is an opportunity to see some of the best medieval architecture , as well as some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in the country.

We will leave Madrid early in the morning from the meeting point. The first stop on this tour will be Segovia . Segovia is a city in central Spain, capital of the province of Segovia, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is located on a plateau above sea level at an altitude of 740 metres (2,430 feet), near the confluence where three rivers meet to create a larger river called the Eresma. We will take a guided tour of the historic centre. As you discover Segovia, you will understand why this city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . We will walk through the Plaza Mayor, admire monuments such as the aqueduct and the cathedral, and then visit the Alcázar Real, a military fortress that includes Roman ruins.

With its magnificent 11th century walls and founded by the Romans in 184 BC. C., Ávila is the city of Santa Teresa de Jesús. It is a small city in western Spain, in the autonomous community of Castile and León; it has around 100,000 inhabitants and is one of the oldest and most important cities in Spain. The town retains its historic atmosphere with narrow streets and buildings from various periods, including Roman ruins, Muslim palaces and churches, such as the Church of the Virgin of the Snows, a temple built on top of the Belforad synagogue. The route will follow a very important section, that of the famous wall that surrounds the city. We will ask ourselves: ‘How was this defensive system devised? Why has it been preserved to this day?’ We will reveal these themes from the thick wall that surrounds the entire historic center of the city as we make our way to the Roman necropolis.

We will stop here for a well-deserved rest and enjoy free time to eat.

Passionate about history, we will continue our itinerary to the third city of the day: ‘Toletum’. This is what Toledo was called in Latin. Rich in history and culture, Toledo is known for its long tradition of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, which is why many call it the city of three cultures. On this tour, we will not only see the most typical places, but also hidden corners frequented by the local population.

Visiting Toledo, the city of three cultures

Booking

Book with naturanda.com a private day tour in Toledo from Madrid. Toledo is a city located only one hour away from Madrid. This city is at the top of most tourists’ favourite places to visit.

If you want to see this city in the best way then this is the option for you. We will give you the best service you have ever experienced.

We start with a panoramic view of Toledo, with a stage to admire the surroundings of the city on the other side of the riverbed and a tour of the city to reach the Town Hall Square and a visit to the interior of the Primate Cathedral .

We will continue with a visit to the synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, one of the most representative monuments of the Jewish legacy in Toledo. Built in the 12th century, this synagogue stands out for its Mudejar architecture, its horseshoe arches and white columns that evoke serenity and beauty. Although it was later converted into a church, it remains a symbol of the cultural splendour of the Sephardic community in the city.

We will stop in the historic centre of Toledo , where we will be able to discover charming corners such as the magnificent sheds of the city. The sheds are ancient constructions that connect two buildings on the same property to prevent their owners from having to go out into the street. They are a hallmark of Toledo and are often used as backdrops for films or photo shoots.

After seeing the historic centre, we will have free time for lunch following the recommendations of our expert guide.

Private Excursion to El Escorial Monastery and Valle de los Caídos

Booking

The Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial is the building that best sums up the ideological and cultural aspirations of Spain’s ‘Golden Age’. On this private guided tour, we will enjoy a monument declared a World Heritage Site and, during the visit, we will see the most significant rooms of the monastery: the Pantheon of Kings and Princes, the Chapter House, the Palace of the Habsburgs, the Basilica and, of course, the famous Library where thousands of historical volumes are preserved.

It was built in the 16th century during the reign of the powerful King Philip II, and was designed as a residence, monastery and pantheon for the Royal Family, becoming a symbol of the magnificence of the Spanish Empire.

It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. During the tour, you will visit the interior of the monastery, the royal palace, the pantheon of kings and princes, the chapter houses, the cloister of the four evangelists and the basilica.

The Valle de los Caídos (Valley of the Fallen) is a striking monument erected in memory of those who died during the Spanish Civil War.

Located in the beautiful Cuelgamuros Valley, in the Guadarrama Mountains, this gigantic structure consists of a basilica and crypt carved into the rock of a mountain, crowned by an imposing cross over 150 metres high.

Private excursion to Doñana National Park from Seville

Book

Our excursion to Doñana will begin in Seville, accompanied by one of our specialised guides, to enjoy a wonderful day in nature.

The first stop will be the Sevillian town of Puebla del Río, at the gateway to the Doñana marshes. Crossed entirely by the Guadalquivir River, this municipality is home to one of the best-preserved wild olive forests in the area, the Dehesa de Abajo, which is home to the largest colony of white storks in Europe, as they take advantage of the treetops and the nearby La Rianzuela lagoon to nest. The slight elevation of this pasture above the marsh is ideal for observing hundreds of birds in their natural habitat and the flat landscape of the marsh.

‘The Dehesa de Abajo, in the Doñana region, is home to the largest colony of white storks in Europe and a well-preserved wild olive forest.’

Every year, the marshes provide refuge for approximately 200,000 individuals of more than 300 different bird species, making this place the most important natural area on the European continent. The area is also the largest rice field in Spain in terms of planted area and the most productive thanks to the high summer temperatures and the water from the Guadalquivir River. Its unique geography and landscape have been the setting for famous film shoots such as the award-winning film Isla Mínima.

Leaving the rice fields behind, we will continue our tour until we reach the northern part of the Doñana National Park, where we will stop to visit the village of El Rocío, famous throughout the country for its pilgrimage. This village evokes times gone by in Andalusia, recreating the typical Andalusian atmosphere of centuries past, as if travelling back in time, with its sandy streets travelled by horses and people on foot.

The excursion will take us through the village to the famous Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Rocío, in its popular chapel, where more than a million people gather every year to participate in one of the most important religious pilgrimages on the planet.

‘The village of El Rocío welcomes more than a million visitors every year during the pilgrimage celebrations.’

After visiting the village of El Rocío, we will visit the Palacio del Acebrón, next to the Arroyo de la Rocina, to discover another of Doñana’s ecosystems: the gallery forest. We will take a circular hiking route while interpreting animal tracks and learning about some endemic plant species of this natural environment. At the end of this trail, we will take a short break for lunch to sample the typical cuisine of the area, before heading to the next ecosystem on our visit: the beach.

At over 30 kilometres long, the Doñana beach is the longest unspoilt beach in Spain, stretching from the famous town of Matalascañas to the mouth of the Guadalquivir River off the coast of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. On a short tour, we will discover its unique shifting sand dunes, where we can observe flora and fauna characteristic of this ecosystem. In addition, if the weather is good, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, which will be very rewarding. Don’t forget to bring your swimwear if you visit us in summer!

At sunset, we will begin our return to Seville, crossing the wooded area of Doñana National Park in our 4×4 to spot the large mammals that inhabit it, such as deer, foxes and wild boars, and try to see the park’s icon, the famous Iberian lynx.

Remember that we also offer two-day visits to Doñana National Park from Seville, with one night’s accommodation included, and that this excursion is available as a private tour with whoever you want.

The city of Cordoba, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir, was the capital of the province of Betica during the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Cordoba. The history of Cordoba has left us with architectural wonders such as the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter, among others.

Departing from Seville, Naturanda’s guide will pick you up at one of the meeting points and take you to Carmona, a white village located only half an hour from the city and which deserves a short stop to admire its beauty. After this short guided tour, we will set off for Cordoba, where we will arrive after approximately one hour of travel. Once we arrive at our main destination, we will take a guided tour on foot through the historical centre of the city, visiting such significant monuments.

We will walk through the most significant streets of the city, passing by the Roman Bridge, the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Stables and the Cordoba Synagogue (closed on Mondays). We will also take a short walk through the famous and colourful Cordoba courtyards which will give us the opportunity to take wonderful photographs, which will always remain as one of the most beautiful memories of this excursion to Cordoba.

After getting to know the historical centre of Cordoba we will take a short break on our tour to enjoy Cordoba’s cuisine as recommended by our guide, or enjoy your own lunch or picnic if you wish. You will also enjoy some free time in case you want to do some shopping.

After lunch, and to put the finishing touch to our day trip, we will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.

There, visitors will have enough time to enjoy this wonderful architectural monument, created in its origins for the Muslim cult, and which represents one of the main jewels of the historical and architectural heritage of Andalusia.

After our visit to the Mosque of Cordoba, we will return to the meeting point to board our transport which will take us back to Seville, where we will arrive after having enjoyed a magnificent day of excursion having visited places of extraordinary beauty.

Remember that if you want to enjoy another day in the capital of Cordoba you can book your excursion with one night’s accommodation included and return to Seville the following day with us.

Private excursion to Granada from Seville

Book

Our excursion to Granada will leave you with the unforgettable memory of an unforgettable day. Leaving from Seville, after being picked up by our guide at one of the meeting points, we will set off for the city of Granada.

Granada is known for its historical monuments, its neighbourhoods, its proximity to the Sierra Nevada ski resort, its gastronomy and the culture of the “tapa”. For all these reasons, Granada is one of the favourite destinations of Naturanda’s clients.

Our excursion to this beautiful city has many attractions but the visit to the Alhambra in Granada is the most outstanding. This ancient Andalusian fortress, consisting of palaces and gardens, served as accommodation for the monarch and the court during the Nazari kingdom. It is catalogued as one of the most beautiful places in the world and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Spain. Its huge gardens and different rooms reflect the legacy of the different religions and cultures that passed through the city.

On a four-hour route through the interior of the monument, our guide will accompany you and will explain and discover every corner of this magnificent place full of a thousand stories and singularities. At the end of the guided tour, and if the hour of access to the Alhambra allows it, we will have the opportunity to take a small walk through the centre of the city, through the streets and the most outstanding places.

We will have the opportunity to have lunch in one of the typical bars of the city and do some shopping if you wish. We will finish the day’s excursion in this city, meeting up again with our transport to return to Seville, where we will arrive at approximately 20:00 h. after having enjoyed a day that you will never forget.

Private excursion to the Pueblos Blancos and Ronda from Seville

Book

This private excursion will start from Seville, Cordoba or Cadiz, from where we will depart to the White Villages and Ronda. A customizable itinerary for those who want to know at their own pace the nature, the andalusian culture and the beautiful landscapes of the Sierras of Cadiz and Malaga.

The route to the White Villages runs along the old border between the medieval kingdoms of Castille and Granada, which is why during our journey if we leave from Seville or Cadiz we can see ancient watchtowers and fortresses such as the Castle of Las Aguzaderas, which looms imposingly over the countryside at the height of the municipality of El Coronil, in an environment that will gradually change from the plain to the mountains.

From there, we will move to Zahara de la Sierra, in the province of Cadiz, within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, a protected area of great ecological value. We will walk through its narrow streets, enjoy its beautiful views and visit an olive oil mill dedicated to the extraction and production of olive oil. Our visitors will be able to taste this delicious delicacy and purchase any of its products.

The excursion continues to the mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema, which is a mountainous area of extraordinary scenic, geological and botanical interest. A natural environment where the Pinsapar and its Mediterranean forest stand out, which happens to be the place where it rains most in Spain. If you prefer we can also visit the location of Setenil de las Bodegas, a village built inside the rocks.

Our destination later will be one of the most significant white villages of Andalusia, Grazalema, which gives its name to the mountain range itself. We will enjoy this beautiful village and its impressive views towards the mountains. In Grazalema we will take a break to enjoy its gastronomy in one of the typical bars of the area.

Finally, we will go to the mythical and romantic city of Ronda, in a trip characterized by the impressive views of the Ronda mountains and by the flight of the vultures. The Alameda, the Puente Nuevo, the Paseo de los Toreros and the Tajo are some of the most important points of the city.

Our guide will explain you the most important historical and cultural details of Ronda and will also accompany you if you wish to visit the places you like best.

Once we have finished our visit to Ronda we will set off again where we will arrive after having enjoyed a beautiful day discovering the nature, history and culture of the White Villages of Andalusia.

Remember that, if you wish, in this customizable tour we can stay more or less time in each place or visit another town such as Arcos de la Frontera. The recommended departure time is around 9 am but we can also choose the time that suits you best.
