Embark on an unforgettable journey through the best of the Costa de la Luz with this comprehensive tour that includes Tarifa, the Baelo Claudia Archaeological Site, the Bolonia Beach, and the charming white village of Vejer de la Frontera. An ideal trip for lovers of history, culture, and the most spectacular natural landscapes in southern Andalusia.
Our first stop is Tarifa, the southernmost city in Europe, where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. We will stroll through its medieval old town and, as a highlight, visit the Castle of Guzmán el Bueno (entrance fees included), a 10th-century fortress with privileged views of the Strait of Gibraltar and North Africa. Here we will relive the legendary story of Guzmán el Bueno and enjoy a unique panoramic view.
We will continue on to the impressive Baelo Claudia Archaeological Site, an ancient Roman city facing the sea that offers one of the best examples of Roman urban planning on the Iberian Peninsula. We will walk through its streets, forums, temples, thermal baths, and the famous garum factory, all in a privileged natural setting.
Then we will visit the Bolonia Beach, considered one of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches in Spain. You will have free time to relax on its fine sand, swim in its crystal-clear waters, or explore its natural dune, a geological wonder that is not to be missed.
We will continue the day in Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most emblematic white villages in Cadiz. This walled enclave will surprise you with its cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, flower-filled courtyards, and viewpoints with dreamlike views. A perfect blend of history, tradition, and beauty. In this town, we will have free time to eat in one of its bars or restaurants famous for their local cuisine, where tuna, Retinto beef, and local wines are always on the menu.
Afterwards, we will return to the various starting points of the tour, which will end before 5:30 p.m. if you are staying in Cadiz or at 7:00 p.m. if you are staying in Seville.
This tour is ideal for those who want to enjoy an enriching experience that combines the best of historical heritage, Andalusian charm, and the unspoilt nature of the Cadiz coastline. Perfect for a day trip or as part of a cultural tour of Andalusia.
